Credit Union School Savers Update

Our School Savers have been back up and running since September 2023 and we’re delighted that the number of Junior Savers numbers and the amount saved has increased, despite the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

So far more than 50 children have joined saving for computer games, holiday spending money and Tablets, plus it’s also a good way for parents to spread the cost of big school trips.

We want to thank the volunteers for their hard work promoting and running the collection points every week at primary school across the borough and helping teach children all about money, an important life skill.

We also welcomed Trelewis Primary School to our School Savers (pictured below) and they’ve already had more than 30 children sign up in the first two weeks – a fantastic effort by the volunteers and school. In these tough times its great hear from the school that all children from some families are now saving with them.

When your child opens an account, they get a FREE piggy box and an account book to keep track of their account.
