Credit Union visit to boost MoneyWorks Wales roll out in south Wales
On 19th June 2023 Sandy Highfield from Cambrian Credit Union and Rizwan Shams from Cardiff and Vale Credit Union, the MoneyWorks Wales representatives visited Merthyr Tydfil Borough Credit Union to speak to the whole team.
MoneyWorks Wales is a collaboration between Wales’s leading credit unions committed to improving the financial wellbeing of Welsh employees, there are currently 150 employees signed up
Delyth Shearing, Chief Executive MTBCU said ‘We are proud to be part of MoneyWorks, so it was great to have Sandy and Riz visit and share with the team the important work being done to expand the scheme to more employers in Merthyr and across Wales.
We’re looking forward to expanding the scheme and helping more employers and employees alongside existing MoneyWorks partners such Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board and JNP Solicitors across Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent and Rhondda Cynon Taf to build financial resilience and support employers looking to sign up.’
