Backing the Ironmen Merthyr Credit Union Announces Sponsorship of Merthyr RFC

We’re excited to announce a three-year sponsorship deal with Merthyr RFC, starting this season 2026/27

This longer-term sponsorship reflects our ongoing keenness to invest in the local area and backing local teams who bring our community together.

Strengthening Ties On and Off the Field

As part of the agreement, we will have a strong presence at The Wern throughout the 26/27 season including:

Pitch side Signage: A dedicated advertising board displayed prominently around the pitch for every home fixture.

Matchday Programmes: regular advertising features in every home game programme.

Hospitality & Matchday Events: Access to club hospitality packages to host members, local partners, and community guests.

Business & Community Networking: Participation in both in-person and digital networking opportunities to build stronger ties with local businesses and supporters.
