Second Year Sponsoring Merthyr Half Marathon!

We are excited to announce that we are sponsoring the Merthyr Half Marathon for the second consecutive year, it’s taking place on Sunday, 22^nd March 2026.

This will be the 11^th year half marathon is taking place, its’ organised by Merthyr Running Club, starting and finishing at Merthyr College and attracts elite and grassroots runners.

Runners will be testing themselves against a challenging course through beautiful scenery including the historic Trevithick and Taff Trails,

The undulating course takes you around Merthyr and its surrounding countryside.

giving you spectacular views as you race. Last year’s Merthyr Half Marathon attracted hundreds of entries and great feedback from runners and all entrants will receive a finisher's medal, t-shirt, and goody bag.

In addition to the half marathon, there is also a Mini Fun Run for children aged 4-7 at 9:00 AM (must be accompanied by an adult) and a Junior Fun Run for ages 8-16 starting at 9:15 AM. Finishers will also receive a medal and goodies.

On Sunday 22^nd March, Race Day, we’ll have a stall and be at the start line at Merthyr College to cheer on all participants. Come along to engage with our team and pick up some goodies.

Supporting and being art of the local Merthyr Tydfil community is important for us and we are proud to support local events like the half-marathon, rugby and football clubs.
