International Credit Union (ICU) Day celebrates the spirit of the global credit union movement. This year’s it’s on Thursday 17^th October and the theme is ‘One World through cooperative finance’

Credit Union of Wales Awards 2024

The Credit Union of Wales Awards are being held on Thursday 17th October at the Celtic Manor in Newport and we will will be attending and keeping our fingers crossed for our 6 amazing nominees.  Check out our Facebook page for updates on 17^th

Members Stories

As it’s our 25^th Anniversary and in line with this year’s theme we’ll be sharing our members stories of how the Credit Union has supported them and what the Credit Union means to them.

Get yourself a Merthyr Tydfil Borough Credit Union Piggy Box for a donation to charity!

We’re also raising money for Cystic Fibrosis Trust with our famous piggy boxes this Thursday 17th October and Friday 18th October for ICU Day.

If you want one, come to see us at 139 High Street in Merthyr Tydfil, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, pop a minimum donation of £1 to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust box and the piggy box is yours. You just need to decide which colour you want!
