Celebrating 78th International Credit Union Day at Merthyr Tydfil Borough Credit Union
To celebrate International Credit Union Day on Thursday 15th October 2026 we’ve got a busy week planned
On the third Thursday of October every year, International Credit Union Day is celebrated around the world. The day is recognised to reflect on the credit union movement's history, promote its achievements, recognizes hard work and share member experiences. International Credit Union (ICU) Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948.
Each year a theme is chosen, in 2026 the theme is 'Co-operative Finance : A Steady Signal in a Noisy World
