ABCUL rebrands as All Together Money the Credit Union movement
As the Credit Union sector continues to grow across Great Britain, our trade body Association of British Credit Union (ABCUL) has rebranded and is now called All Together Money - The credit union movement to better represent the sector and what we do.
The change was announced at ABCUL’s Annual General Meeting in Birmingham on 14th April 2026 which our Manager, Delyth Shearing and other Welsh Credit Unions attended.
Following the launch, Delyth said ‘It was good to attend the AGM, catch up with Credit Unions from across the UK, ABCUL staff and partners.
And seeing such a positive reaction to the new brand gives me confidence as we grow Merthyr Tydfil Credit Union that our trade body is adapting to changing times and seizing opportunities to help grow Credit Unions and expand our services.
Because many people in our communities could benefit from the services we offer, including a commitment to maintaining a high street presence as bank and building societies close branches.'
The launch of All Together Money - the credit union movement saw three pillars for success announced :-
Better connected – bringing credit unions together to share knowledge, collaborate and grow.
Better represented – amplifying the sector’s voice with government, regulators and key stakeholders
Better supported – providing the tools, guidance and expertise credit unions need to succeed’
Matt Bland, Chief Executive of All Together Money summed up the importance of the change in his speech at the launch "This is a pivotal moment for us. It’s about moving with the times, building a stronger, more connected sector and growing our impact. “Because when credit unions grow, communities grow. And when we work together, we’re stronger.”
